Join us for award winning Sunday afternoon cocktails, mocktails, wine and beer.  We will have timed two hour slots with table service only. Our secret rooftop garden is re situated only 15ft above the ground on top of Brunel's underground Grand Entrance Hall to the Thames Tunnel, one of the city's engineering masterpieces, hailed in Victorian times as 'the eighth wonder of the world'. We are known for our wild cocktails using ingredients grown in the garden or foraged close by.  We pride ourselves on using premium local alcohol distilled or brewed in Bermondsey such as Jensen's gin, Hiver Honey Beer, Anspach & Hobday and the Kernel Brewery. Our non-alcoholic sodas hail from award-winning local Square Root Soda.  Lottie Muir aka The Cocktail Gardener transformed this neglected space in 2012 into an edible oasis in the heart of Rotherhithe village by the Thames. The garden is alive to the joys and drama of local wildlife and the distant sound of river traffic.

We will be using the Butlr table ordering app to keep you extra safe while we serve your drinks.  You are welcome to bring your own picnic (food only) or the wonderful Mayflower pub across the street can also serve a limited food menu direct to your table via the same table ordering app we are using. So come hungry and thirsty! (Please note only drinks bought from Midnight Apothecary may be consumed on the premises).

Alternatively, why not book the whole garden exclusively for you and up to 30 guests from 1pm - 5pm? Contact us for more information.
